In fall 2021, Hannah Palmer of Finding the Flint reached out to me with an idea: what if we made supporting your creek as fun as participating in team sports?
We started with the idea of team t-shirts and built the entire concept out from there:
People would enter their address into a custom-built tool that tells them what watershed they live in
They can buy swag to support their team and the local advocate it supports (like the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, or the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance)
They can earn points for their team by completing activities in and around the creek, like trash pickup, reporting dumping, and introducing friends to the watershed
Teams can win big prizes, all for supporting their creeks!
