I was commissioned by a friend to create a map for her older sister’s wedding – the ceremony took place in Athens, Georgia, which is where the couple met, fell in love, and got engaged. We chose locations around the town that had meaning to them, and I compiled them all in this map! My favorite detail was a play on how to include their names – usually it’s more common to do their names in beautiful calligraphy somewhere in a corner, but since the wedding was taking place at Little King’s Shuffle Club, I decided to base their names on the signage there. The bride loved it!
