Scope of Work: Concept Design & Production

For this project, I explored the intersection of AI, food, and creativity by tasking artificial intelligence with designing a semi-nonsensical banquet spread—inventing surreal dishes, impossible textures, and unexpected ingredient pairings. Then, I partnered with chef Basia Piechoczek of Beksa Lala to bring these AI-generated concepts to life, translating algorithmic oddities into tangible, edible creations.

The result? A table filled with beautiful, bizarre, and sometimes delicious surprises—a playful experiment in how machines interpret food and how human creativity adapts those ideas into reality. From poetic but impractical dish names to ingredient combinations that defied logic, every step of the process challenged both AI’s ability to "think" about food and our own ability to reinterpret and adapt machine-made ideas.

This project was part culinary surrealism, part tech experiment, and a full-on celebration of the unexpected. It asked: What happens when we let AI into the kitchen? And how do we, as humans, make sense of its strange and wonderful ideas?
