Traditional cameras have long been biased—favoring certain skin tones, prioritizing certain features, and shaping how we see ourselves. The AI Portrait Booth challenges that. Instead of a camera deciding how you're captured, you describe yourself in words, and an AI generates a unique, artistic interpretation of your portrait.
Inspired by Dove’s “Real Beauty Sketches” and the history of camera bias, this interactive experience puts control back in your hands. Do you emphasize your freckles? Your expressive eyes? The way your face lights up when you laugh? The AI listens and translates your words into visuals, creating a photobooth strip of one-of-a-kind portraits—a fusion of self-perception, technology, and art.
At the end, you walk away with a tangible, printable keepsake—just like a classic photobooth strip, but one shaped by your own narrative. This is more than a picture; it’s a reflection of how you choose to be seen.
